SPORTS CLUB MEETING. From Our Own Correspondent. A general meeting of the Ongaonga Sports Club was held on Wednesday, when Mr O. Harris was elected chairman and Mr B. Dassler secretary. It. was decided that sports be held as usual on Monday, January 2, 1933. A strong committee is making every endeavour to draw up an exceptionally good programme to make the coming meeting a record one. Mr and Mrs W. Harper’s little daughter, who recently underwent an operation in the County Hospital, is now making steady progress towards recovery.
