OPENING RATES MAINTAINED. (United Press Association—By CableCopyright.)
(Received 13, 12.30 p.m.) London, Oct. 12. At the wool sales 7,933 bales were offered, including 3,176 New Zealand; about 3,771 were sold. There was good Yorkshire and Continental competition and opening rates were firmly maintained.
New Zealand sales: Greasy crossbred DC/D 7Jd, halfbred lambs, slipes, Waitaki 12jjd. • These are the only prices given.
