HASTINGS WOMEN’S CLUB
BRIDGE AFTERNOON. More than thirty members were present at the bridge circle of the Women’s Club on Monday, progressive bridge being played. Mrs Retry won the first prize, the mystery prize being won by Mrs Cunningham. Autumn berries and leaves made the room look bright and cheerful. Mrs Stratton was convenor for the afternoon assisted by Mrs Giorgi . Those present included: Mesdames Stratton, Giorgi, Petry, Cunningham, Cuming, O’Meara, Garnett, Shand, Kessell, Michaelson, Hart, F. L. Bone, Budd, J. Foot, Beamish, Darvell, Collins, Elder, Johnson, A. Aitken, Rees Davies, Misses Evans and Heslop and many more.
