EASTER TOURNAMENT. PLAY AT THE WAIOHIKI LINKS. The following are the results of the Napier Golf Club’s Easter tournament which was concluded yesterday at the Waiohiki Links:— EASTER CHAMPIONSHIP Third Round W. Matthews beat A. G. Sinclair, 1 up. H. S. Hindmarsh .beat F. C. Fryer, 5 and 3. Final W Matthews beat H. S. Hindmarsh, at 19th. EASTER HANDICAP Third Round R. 'Worker beat A. M. McClurg, 4 and 3. J. W. Benson beat A Murley, 3 and 1. Final J. W Benson beat B. Worker, 1 up. , The bogey handicap was won by H. S. Hindmarsh, with the excellent score of 4 up. The four-ball bogey handicap was won by W. A. Wilson and A. M. McClurg with a score of 8 up. THE SOUTHLAND TITLES Invercargill, March 28. The final of the amateur golf championship of Southland was played over 36 holes on the Otatara links to-day in beautiful weather. A. Thom (Queen's Park, Invercargill), who was runnerup last year, beat G. C. G. Davey (St. Clair), nine and seven. The junior championship was won by G. B. Meredith, who beat W. Mangan (Tuatapere), five and four.
