ECONOMY COMMISSION
EARLY ANNOUNCEMENT OF PERSONNEL. Wellington, Jan. 23. The Prime Minister (the Rt. Hou. G. W. Forbes) stated that the personnel of the special Economy Commission will be announced early next week. The commission will consist of five members. A statement as to the scope of the commission's inquiry will be made at the same time as the announcement of the names of the commissioners. Mr Forbes also stated that the appointment of a Minister to fill the vacancy caused by the defeat of Mr D. Jones, Minister of Agriculture, at the general election will be made during the coming week.
