VOLUNTEERS WANTED

FOR BLOOD TRANSFUSION. HASTINGS HOSPITAL'S APPEAL. The Hastings Memorial Hospital authorities are urgently requiring the names of people willing to give blood for the saving of life among the patients at the hospital. It is hoped that the Hastings people will show sufficient public spirit to help their own hospital in this matter, and possibly' to save the lives of some of their own townspeople. Anyone willing to give blood when required is asked to make an appointment with the pathologist at th 8 Napier Hospital for the purpose of having his or her blood tested and classified. The telephone number is 179 Napier. A fee of from £1 Is to £3 3s is paid each time that blood is given.
