AUCKLAND Auckland, Dec. 27. The Auckland Trotting Club’s summer meeting opened in brilliant weather at Alexandra Park to-day, The attendance was large and the track was in perfect order. The totalisator handled £55,462, compared with £61.709 on the first day last year, representing a decrease oil £6.247. Late results:— Christmas Handicap, 2 miles.—2 Mr. H. A.
