Mrs. Bettington, Miss Enid Faulkiner (Sydney) and Mr. Eric Nelson spent some days this week with Air. and Mrs. Eric Beamish, Whan.i Whana.
Mrs. Lionel Nelson, of Wellington, is staying with her mother, Mrs. Mason Chambers, Havelock North. ■ * * Miss Crawford, who has been staying with Miss Margot Russell, has returned to Wellington.
Miss Joan Landels, who has been for some weeks in Dunedin, has returned to Hastings, and is staying with Mrs. A. F. M, Symes. * * * Mrs. Beetham and Miss Wardell, of Masterton. have left for the Chateau, Tongariro, after staying at “Ilillsbrook.”
Mr. and Mrs. Fergusson, and their family, who have been staying at “Hillsbrook,” returned this week to their home in Day’s Bay, Wellington.
Mrs. Bernard Chambers (Te Mata) and her daughter, Miss Hazel Chambers, and Miss Ira Ormond (Napier), leave next week for Honolulu.
Mrs. Norton Tanner is spending a week in Palmerston N. ana Wanganui.
Mrs. H. P. Newton, of Napier, spent this week in Hastings, with her sister, Mrs. H. J. Webber. * * # Mrs. F. K. Faulkner, Havelock North, an,d Miss Mary White, of Dunedin, are staying with Mrs. H. M. Campbell. “Koronui.”
Miss Betty Woodward, who at one time lived in Hastings, but now resides in Palmerston North, is spending a holiday here with various friends.
