CHINESE ARMIES AGAIN AT GRIPS
HEAVY FIGHTING REPORTED, (United Press Association— £v vuo.i Copyright.] (Received 27, 9.50 a.m.) Pekin, June 26. Foreign telegrams confirm the peaceful occupation of Tsinanfu by Shansi troops following the withdrawal of Hanfuchu, the former Kuominchun general, eastward along the railway connecting Tsinanfu with the coast. Hanfuchu'a future movements are uncertain, but tonight’s Chinese press reports that he and Chentiaoyuan, provincial Governor, intend to concentrate on Tsingto with the object of making that city the temporary capital of Shantung. Meanwhile heavy fighting is reported from Honan where Chiang Kai-Shek has launched another determined offensive along a 24-milo front.
