RIFLE SHOOTING
ARMY CHAMPIONSHIP REPRESENTATIVES.
A very successful camp, under the
canmaiid of Staff Sergeant-Major i.' lxiary, was held at Roy s Hill last iveek-end for the purpose of enabling the selector ttf choose the local representatives to compete at the New Zealand Army Rifle Championships to be held at Trentham from March 11 to 15.
Some exceptionally high scroes were registered, notably by Corp!. A. R. Symons present holder of the Army Championship, L.-Cpl. J. M. Carmichael. and Corpl W. J. Burton. Those throe should have a big say when the final prize-lists come out at the A’rmy meeting. The standard maintained by all the competitors in camp was uniformly good, and all deserve the highest praise The final selection of Hastings representatives is as follows :— Sergt. D. R. Graham, Corpl. A. R. Symons. Corpl. W. J. Burton, Corpl. L. Crawford, Corpl. T. Rosenberg. L.-Corpl. R. Frizzell, L.-Corpl. J. G. Esam, L.-Corpl, L. Ross, L.-Corpl. C. G. Kemp. L.-Corpl. G. E. Taylor, Pvte. E. Burtcn and Pvte. F. IV. Lowe
