Won by half a neck, a nose between second and third. Syr.: Dancing Star, Lady Gen. Time, £l7. Bolton Handicap.—B Merry Mint (Carroll) 1, 7 Courageous 2, 6 Avro 3. Scr.: Imperial Spark. Time, 2.8 2-5. Mangarawa Handicap.—l Glenart. ney (Marsh) 1, 3 Knightlike and 4 Brown Sugar (dead-heat) 2,2 Auda 3. Scr.: Royal Parade, Great Lady, Repay, Manifesto, Pari. Won easily. Time, 1.14 2-5.
