Pike will arrive to-day, and will ride Gothic and Strephon at Flemington to-morrow. The Banker has been engaged for the Essendon Stakes nnd the Brunswick Stakes. He will J>e ridden by H. Caims.( The New Zealander Nedda is engaged in the Sires’ Produce Stakes, for which Parkwood, Meadow King, Hebrus, and Temoin are among the other runners. Probable starters in the St. Leger will be Strephon, Belmerino, Prince Don, Cosy Rug, and Tutor. Coybeau, a candidate for the Australian Cup, is running in to-mor-row’s hurdles.
The weather forecast is for fine weather with rising temperatures.
