SPECIAL LECTURE COURSE. BY MR. A. ERNEST MANDER. Mr. A. Ernest Mander, the staff lecturer from Victoria University College, will commence a special short course of historical lectures tomorrow (Thursday) night at 8 o’clock in Wesley Hall, Hastings. His opening lecture is entitled “Jean Jacques Rousseau,” a critical analysis of Rousseau’s philosophy regarding the supposed natural rights of man. This special series is intended to make a general appeal, and to that end the study will centre round selected outstanding personalities in world history. Large attendances are expected for this popular course.
