ENGLISHMEN WIN. MATCH AGAINST AUCKLAND PROVINCE Auckland August 8. Before an attendance of 15,000, under ideal conditions, the English League team defeated the Auckland provincial team by 14 to nine. The oiiginal team underwent several changes, owing to some South Aucklan 1 players being unavailable, and, wi .'i one exception, all the players belonged to Auckland.
