PROTEST FROM OTAGO.
Dunedin, Aug. 30.
The Otago Football Association decided to send a letter to the New Zealand Council protesting against the short notice in asking for two Otago boys to join the New Zealand test team at Auckland against the Australian school boys. As a result it is impossible to send the boys north although it is stated that four high-class players could have been nominated.
