GENEROUS CONDITIONS FOR YOUNGSTERS.

(British Official Wireless.) (Received 27, 11 a.m.) Rugby, Aug. 27. Under the schedule of the free, apprenticeship in South Australia to assist British boys to settle on the land there, provision is being made by the State Government to receive 100 boys, monthly, between the ages of 15 and 17. At the end of three years the boys become eligible for an advance from the Government of a sum not exceeding £3OO, to enable them to take up land and secure equipment for a start on their own account,

The boys will travel to Australia with a Welfare officer at reduced fares and will be apprenticed to the Government and not to individual farmers.
