WOMEN'S COMMUNITY CLUB.
MUSICAL CIRCLE.
A number of members met and very much enjoyed the afternoon's entertainment provided at the tortnightly musical afternoon at the duh. The mom was brightly decorated with spring blossoms and bulbs. Tne lollowing programme was given:—Duet, “(J Lovely Night” (.Landon Ronald), ami as an encore “Calm Silent Night,” rendered by Mrs. Barton doobs and Mrs. Christie; piano solo, (a) “Early Morning”, (b) "Islanu Cave” (Edgar), rendered by Mrs. Blair, dongs sung next by Mrs. Christie were “sing, Break Into Song” and “A Birthday” (Cowen). Miss Joan Campbell chose as her piano soli “Vaise Bohemieinme' (Coleridge Taylor) and “Moonset” (Percy Elliott). Mrs. Hobbs then sang ‘‘My Ships' (Barratt) and “Happy song” (Teresa del Riego), Mrs. Blair next gave on the piano (a) "Prelude” (Greig), (b) “Sea Mews Flight” (Barratt). Mrs. Christie rendered “Now Sleeps the Crimson Petal” (Quilter)) and ‘Magdalan at Michael’s Gate” (Liza Lehmann). The delightful items were concluded by Mrs. Hobbs and Mrs. Christie giving the following duets "Maying” and “The Day is Done” (Lohr).
