HASTINGS & NAPIER ORPHANS
VISIT TO GISBORNE SAVAGES. Some twenty-five Hastings and Napier Orphans journeyed to Gisborne on Saturday where they visited the Savages of that town. The visitors were most hospitably entertained by their hosts, who extended them the warmest of welcomes at a korero, which included an assemblage of about 400 Gisborne Savages, and a thoroughly enjoyable time was spent.
The visitors left on their return home yesterday, the party making a halt at the Morere Hot Springs.
