ALMOST AFLOAT
THE STRANDED RIVERINA . (Received 19, 10.10 p.m.) According to private messages received in Sydney there is every prospect of the steamer Riverina being refloated at an early date. The vessel is gradually moving from her bed in the sand. Her head has altered in position 18 degrees to seaward and she is almost afloat. —(A. and N.Z.)
