SEMI-FINALS REACHED. FREEMAN DEFEATS TUCKER. Wellington, Aug. 17. The first semi-final in the New Zealand amateur billiards championship was played to-night, when A.. Freeman (Wellington) beat N. N. Tucker (Wellington) by 666 to 518. The balls ran well for Freeman. The winner's average was 6.3THE OLYMPIC DECISION AMATEURISM MENACED.
