RICCIOTTI GARIBALDI
PERMISSION TO LEAVE ENGLAND. RETURNING TO ITALY. (Received 17, 9.30 a.m.) London, Aug. 16. Ricciotti Garibaldi, who was accused of complicity in an Italian plot against Spain and went to England, en route to Cuba, states that his detention in Liverpool is ending. He has received permission to leave England on August 19 and is returning to Italy where the Government is allowing his re-entrance. “I am convinced,” says Garibaldi, “that once I arrive ip Italy 1 will, be able. to resume control of my private business in France which has suffered severely during my enforced absence.”—(A. and N.Z.)
