TOUR OF SOUTH AFRICA. PROVISION OF FOUR TESTS GIVES SATISFACTION. (Received 17, 9.30 a.m.) Capetown, Aug. 16. The fact that the All Blacks have agreed to extend their Rugby tour here to include four tests instead of three has given immense satisfaction. The Rugby Board has cabled the New Zealand Rugby Union stating; “The whole gauntry appreciate* the generous spirit of your decision, for which the board thanks you.”—(A. and N.Z.) JAPS. DEFEATED IN BOURNE(Received 17, 9.55 a.m.) Melbourne Aug, 17. The visiting Japanese Rugby Union football team from Weseda University, was defeated by a combined Australian Universities’ team by 35 to 14.
