STRANDED RIVERINA
EFFORTS TO REFLOAT HER. MEET WITH LITTLE SUCCESS. (Received 17, 9.55 a.m.) Sydney, Aug. 17. Strenuous efforts are being made on the present high tides to refloat the stranded steamer Riverine, but with little success. Further attempts will be made next full moon and in the meantime more sand pumps will be installed.
