The attendance is large. The track is slightly heavy. Results Longbeach Handicap—l2 Hoylake 1, 11 Kalos 2, 1 Royal Lineage 3. All started. Won by a head. Time, 1.18 3-5. Ayslebury Steeplechase.—2 Royal Wing 1, 4 Osterman 2, 7 Goodfonn 3. All started. Won by 6 lengths. Time, 5.27. Sydenham Hurdles.—l Aberfeldy 1, 4 Perle de Leon 2, 5 Dubious 3. All started. Won by two lengths. Time 3.55. Styx Hurdles.—l Peneus 1, 6 Gay Jim 2, 3 Guncase 3. Scratched: Listening Point. Won by five lengths. Time, 3.7 2-5. BLOOD STOCK SALE. Christchurch Aug 13. At the horse sale satisfactory prices were realised for the Longbeach brood mares. Coronate sold for 58 guineas, and Blather for 120 to Mr lan Dunecan. Skydreem realised 325 guineas, also being sold to Mr lan Duncan.
