FOR A VISITOR.
A pleasant little afternoon tea was given on Saturday by Mrs R. W. C. Steele, at her home in Southland road, for Mrs. P. Andrew, who is staying in Hawke’s Bay at present on a visit from Nelson. The drawing-room looked very attractive with cherry blossom and trails of asparagus tern arranged in bowls, and an enjoyable time was spent by all in conversation over the tea cups.
Miss Scott, of lona, played very delightfully during the afternoon.
