U.S.A. AVIATORS.
CRASH AND ARE KILLED. (Received 11, 9.20 a.m.) Vancouver, Aug. 10. A message from San Diego, California, states that Lieutenants George Covell and R, W. Waggener, of the United States Navy, were killed today when their machine crashed as it was taking off for a flight to San Francisco, where it was intended to hop off for Honolulu with 14 other entrants on Friday.—(A.P.A. and “Sun” cable.)
