WAIRARAPA SPORTS. (I don’t think.)

(To the Editor.)

Sir,—-While my car was parked in the main street of Carterton. it was stripped of about ten varus of black and white ribbon. This happened while we were having lunch before the match. My suitcase was also gone through. I have the number of the Wairarapa car which was next to mine and if I ever have the luck to run up against that crowd again. I’ll make them eat about ten yards of black and white ribbon and see if they like the flavour. Kotten sportsmanship. While lam on the subject of the match the union there made it pretty hot—2/- entrance, 2/- past the gate and 1/- for programme. They must have had a premonition that the Shield would leave there and so made it a welter.—l am, etc., BLACK AND WHITE. Hastings. 11/7/27.
