Kuo Sung Ling’s Advance MARCHING ON MUKDEN. NATIONALISTS IN DANGER. [By Cable—Preet Association— Copyright.] (Received 10, 9.15 a.m.) Pekin, Dec. 9. Kuo Sung Ling’s troops are advancing slowly. The main body is still at Chin Chow, but the advance guards are approaching Liaoho. Japanese gendarmerie are assisting the police in Mukden. Kuomijn-Chun’s troops have now reached Yangtsun, and Li-Ching Linite’s have withdrawn to Peitsang. Trains are running to-day between Pekin and Tientsin. Li-Ching Lin is reported to have taken personal command of the troops near Machang. He claims he defeated two brigades of the second KuominChun armv at Tzeyaho, and one brigade at Tachcng. Four hundred additional Japanese troops have gone to Mukden. All foreigners in Hsinminfu have left. It is understood that a number of foreign women have been niven refuge at the Japanese and other consulates in Mukdem, where all tho Consuls held a meeting to plan measures for the protection of nationals. Hsinminfu is said to have been looted bv tho Mukdon troops to-day.
