ADMISSION OF THE FREE STATE. AN ELEMENT FOR PEACE. Geneva, Sept. 10. The Assembly unanimously voted for the admission of the Irish Free State to the League of Nations. The result was greeted with prolonged cheers. Mr. Cosgrave expressed thanks on behalf of the Dail and emphasised that the Free State was an element for peace. Sir James Allen was the -first to shake hands and welcome the delegates as representatives of a sister dominion.—(A. and N.Z.)
