MR. LLOYD GEORGE’S-APPEAL FOR UNITY. London, March 14. Mr. Lloyd George, speaking at a National Liberal luncheon in his honour appealed for Liberal unity, otherwise the party would become paralysed. The present Government had quickly lost its prestige and Europe was conferring and acting as though the British Empire did not exist. The National Liberals were not seeking shelter at the door of any group. Unity or no unity they had their campaign programme and propaganda.—(A. and N.Z.) CONFIDENCE IN MR, LLOYD GEORGE.
