THE PICTURE HOUSES.
MUNICIPAL. The Hastings JLiiiiicifial Theatre had its usual large audience on Saturday evening, when the programme presented gave complete satisfaction. The star picture was “Oh. Lady, Lady.” featuring Bebe Daniels, and provided entertainment of the best. It was indeed a first-class picture. The sixth round of ‘‘The Leather Pushers” claimed special attention, and provoked roars of laughter, besides giving a splendid display of boxing. The serial “The Winners of the West,’’ a remedy. Paramount’s revied. and the orchestra helped considerably the success of th© programme. COSY DE LUXE. The Cosy attracted a largo audience on Saturday evening, when a twofeatured programme was presented. Henry Edwards and Chrissie While were starred in “Towards the Light,” and Marie Prevost had the leading role in “Don’t Get Prsonal.” Both productions were of a high order, and were interesting and entprtauung throughout. A travel picture. “Jug , gernauts of the Jungle,” and topical and educational gazettes supported. The same series will be screened again this evening.
