CANADA’S WAR BILL.
(Received 29, 9.15 a.m ) Ottawa. May 27. It is understood that Canada has formulated a War Damages Bill totalling eighteen hundred and seventy million dollara including the cost of the war and demobilisation seventeen hundred and fifteen millions, separation allowances, eighty-five millions, Halifax leases, thirty millions, army of occupation. eight millions, and illegal warfare thirty-one million five hundred thousand. This Bill will be handed to the forthcoming conference of Empire representatives and the inter-Allied conference at Spa.—lA. and N.Z.)
