LORD TREDEGAR’S HEIR.
TO ENTER MONASTERY.
London, May 16. The “News,” a Cardiff Druid journal, states that the Hon. Evan Frederick Morgan, eldest son and heir of Lord Tredegar. has renounced the title and estates, and will enter a monastery. He became a convert to Catholicism in Paris during the war, and is a distinguished poet and painter, having exhibited at the Salon.
The Hon. Evan Morgan was formerly a lieutenant in the Welsh Guards, and was private secretary (unpaid) to Mr. Bridgeman, Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Labour. He was born in 1893.
