DANNEVIRKE.
(Own Correspondent.) Mr. A. H. Ross won the men’s goli championship and the Knight Cup, The closing games of the season were played to-day. The sad news came to Airs. White, of the Mangatoro boarding house, that her son, Rifleman AA r . J. White, had been killed in action. He was the eldest son and only 22 years oi age. His younger brother is ip the same reinforcement that he was killed in, while a third brother is now in camp. Mr. Algernon E. Green has disposed of his residental property to Mr. AV. H. Smail, of Qtane.
