CASUALTIES.
DESPONDENT MAN’S SUICIDE. Foxton, Oct. 23. An elderly man named John Currie, hanged himself in an outhouse, at the rear of his residence yesterday afternonn during the temporary absence of his wife and sons. The deceased had been despondent and in ill health for some time.
