TIKOKINO.

[own correspondent.] After two nights’ rain, the heaviest flood known here for some time occurred during Wednesday night and Thursday morning. The creeks spread over the low-lying land. Much damage has been done. Floating fences, willow protective works, and in some cases trees planted last spring were carried away. The potato crops have suffered, though as yet it is not known to what extent. The Mangamuka overflowed, and the Hampden coaches had an exciting experience on Thursday. On Easter Monday, several tennis players from Onga Onga came over, and some interesting games with members of the local dub were played.
