The monthly meeting of the Norsewood School Committee was held on Friday. The master’s report showed a roll of 198, and an average attendance for the past month of 178. The Bev. J. Oliver and Mr Olsen were appointed visiting committee for the ensuing month. It was decided to hold the annual concert on the 29th instant. The Ormondville School Committee met on Friday. The master reported the roll number to be 104; average attendance for past month 95. The master is to be asked to appoint a day for collection of pence by children for H.M.S. New Zealand presentation fund. Mr Hutchings was appointed auditor.
