faY TELBBBAPH.I Wellington, Thursday, The Hon. W. T. Jennings, M.L.C, is gazetted hon. lieutenant of the Auokland Engineers; Thomas B. Eing to be surgeon-oaptain of the New Zealand Volunteers medioal staff. Captain Tunuirangi bas been temporarily-transferred to the Wairarapa Mounted Eifles. The services of the Kaikoura Mounted Eifles as an honorary corps have been accepted. The services of four additional mounted corps and one rifle corpß have been accepted by the Government. Mr J. W. Wake, of Stratford, is gazetted a coroner within the colony. Mr J. A. Beaoh, oi Hunterville, has resigned from the Commission of the Peace.
