A BOT DROWNED.
Dunedin, Sunday. George Smith, aged eight and a half years, the son of a miner, was drowned in a dam at Saddle Hill, while bathing. The boy got out of his depth. His brother, twelve years .of age, recovered the body after being nearly drowned, but life was extinct.
