RAID ON SLY GROG SHOP.
Auckland, Saturday. • It is stated that Constable Sheehan, of Whangarei, and Constable Beddek, of Hikurangi, have made a raid on H. Taylor's soda plant, Kamo, and George Haliday'a Whakapara boarding-house. Liquor was seized at the latter place. They will appear before the Court on the 19th on a charge of alleged sly grogselling.
