NEW SOUTH WALES.
(Received December 20, 2.45 p.m.) Sydney; Tuesday. A case of small-pox is reported from Rock station, a railway porter having been found to be suffering from the disease, 'but only in a mild form. Effectual measures have been adopted to prevent the disease spreading. The Earl of Carnarvon was entertained at a banquet last night by the Ministers of botli Houses of Legislature. (Received November 20, 10.55 p.m.) The outbreak of small-pox reported to have occurred at Rock station has been pronounced to be merely a case of chickenpox. The New Sonth Wales Parliament will adjourn on Friday next until the 3rd of January.
