At tho Wairoa E.M. Court yesterday, before Mr Hector Duff, J.P., a native named Hirini was brought up on remand charged with arson and burglary, and remanded for eight days. — James H. Siuythe and Edward Noble Avere charged with stealing, and were remanded until August 7th. Thomas Duckett was charged, ou an information laid by GK B. Platt, Avith stealing a quantity of clothing on the occasion of the late fire. The" prisoner was remanded. — Captain Gudgeon has a heavy calender before him Avhen he returns from Wellington. "
