The Napier Hospital Committee have the promise of £1000 from the Government for the purpose of building a hospital, which we suppose they may draw upon any day. They have also £1000 of provincial money in hand. Why, we may ask, do they not set to at once, and begin the building of the new hospital ? With £2000 they might put up an edifice that would be a vast improvement upon the present one. They might, of course, so arrange it as to be a portion of a more comprehensive design.
