Thursday, October 6, a.m. The s.s. Tararua, from Melbourne, arrived in the roadstead at eight thia morning — too late, unfortunately, for the tide. She will be tendered at six this evening. 6.50 p.m. The Tararua, Hagley, commander, has made another splendid passage from Melbourne, having made the voyage iv four days, 14£ hours. Sbe left Sandridge Pier at 3 p.m. on tbe Ist. She brings 230 tons cargo, 18 chief and 39 steerage passengers for all ports, and a very large English mail. Passenger list : — J. C. Millan, Rev. Mr. Dumbeil, Mrs. Dumbell, Miss Dumbell, and Masters Dumbell (2), Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton, Messrs. Skogland, Fingten, Henry Young, Gay, James Johnstone, Clay, David Morton, Tbomas Power, Vatlance (senior and junior) ; and 39 in the steerage.
