Silk Lampshade Making
Manaia W.D.F.U. Demonstration At the monthly meeting of the Manaia W.D.F.U.. held on Tuesday of last week. Mrs Paterson presided and there was a good attendance. One new member was enrolled. Mrs Paterson submitted her conference report. . A demonstration on silk lampshade making was given by Misses Rush in and White (Otakeho) and was follower! with interest. A competition. “Something new from something old,” judged by Miss White, was won by Mrs Reardon. A bring and buy is to be held next meeting. Hostesses were Mesdames Vincent, "Reardon and Merrie.
