Pipe Band Dance
A “long-night” old-time and modern dance was -held at the AA inter Show Buildings last night under the auspices of the Hawera Pipe Band. Eighty couples were present and dancing was enjoyed to music supplied by Attrill’s Orchestra and extras by Mr McDonald and Miss D. Nairn (piano), and Piper lan Campbell. Drum-Alajor J R. Nairn was master of ceremonies and supper was served by members of tlio ladies’ committee, under the supervision of -Mrs C. Bowman A feature of the evening was the attendance of bandsmen in uniform.
