LEADER OF GERMAN MINERS INTENSE RESENTMENT FELT (United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph Copyright). LONDON, April 23. . Herr Fritz Husemann, former president of the Miners’ International, was murdered by Nazi guards at the Papenburg concentration camp, according to news received at Brussels, says the “Daily Herald’s” correspondent. The usual pretext of “attempting escape” was employed for the murder. The neWs was suppressed in Germany, but intense resentment is felt among the mining population of the Ruhr. Herr Husemann’s recent imprisonment was the result of his attempt to obtain compeusation for members of. the Miners’ Federation whom Herr Hitler s supporters dismissed.
