LIQUIDATION OF TRUST
FUNDS RAISED FOR APPEAL. > (By Telegraph —Tiesa Association.) WELLINGTON, April 21. Mr Norman Levy, representative of the Investment Trust debenture-hold-ers, referring to a telegram from Christchurch regarding a meeting of debenture-holders ■which voted in favour of the trusts’ liquidation, stated that the meeting was attended by 23 debenture-holders, of whom 13 votes in favour of the resolution. He added that there were over 100 debenture-holders at Christchurch, the- majority of whom, he Claimed, both in numbers and in value of holdings were represented on the debenture-holders’ committee.
Mr Levy added .that the sum of £2OO had been raised to support an appeal to the'Supreme Court.
