Under the auspices of the Hawera branch of the New Zealand Music Teachers’ Association, a. lecture recital entitled “Music and Musicians of England,” is to be given in Hawera next Wednesday evening by Mrs. Hester Stansfield Prior, A.RiC.M. (London). Mrs. Prior is a member of the Royal Philharmonic Society in London and of the Society of Women Musicians. Exceptionally gifted in her talent and a most stimulating and inspiring lecturer, with a wide expeiience of both school and adult audiences, Mrs. Prior is visiting New Zealand to fulfil wireless broadcasting engagements. Her lecture-recital at Hawera. takes place at the Carlton tearoms at 8 p.ni.
