TWELFTH, SPRUNG FLOWER. SHOW. (From Our Own Correspondent). The twelfth • spring flower show to be held at the town hall at Kaponga on Friday afternoon and evening should provide horticulturists with ample scope to display their exhibits. There are three sections for daffodils, one each for cut blooms, pot plants and decorative and a decorative section foj. primary school children. In addition there are the usual sections for preserves and produce, bread and cakes and fancy work. School children are well catered for in sections for drawing, writing, essays, cooking and a general section. The Hockin Daffodil Challenge Cup will be competed for, as also will the Spring Show Rose Bowl. Other sections carry points prizes and a number of specials and a handsome challenge shield will be competed for in the school sections. In addition to; the various stalls a feature of the. evening session will be the children’s choir contest, the first prize for which is £1 Is and the second 10s 6d. Choirs will present a unison song of their own choice and the massed choirs will render “Come Follow Me.”
